The Old Wentworth Gaol is the oldest of the Australian designed gaols. It was built during 1879-1881 and operated until 1927. Now welcomes visitors to experience Gaol life from the inside. Supplied for a great photo are prison & guard uniforms. Inside the Gaol are the stocks, whipping stool & rack, lots of shackles. View the Morrison and Nanya collections. Of all old Gaols in Australia, it is the Wentworth Gaol that is acknowledged as the one in its best original condition.

RAAF No.2 OTU Headquarters is to be preserved as a living museum that will educate present and future generations about the significant achievements of Australians during war time and the major training role Mildura played during World War II. The Museum contains a huge range of RAAF memorabilia, including medals, uniforms and an impressive array of photographs and newspaper articles. The museum was officially opened by Wing Commander Bobby Gibbes DSO, DFC & Bar, who was the Chief Flying Instructor at the Unit in 1944.
